first call movers home town movers, home team movers moving company broker - who represents themselves as a moving company RIP OFF ft lauderdale Florida

After a call , who the sales person called the compant home town movers , quoted me a price of $1700.00 for a move from fla to MI  , He said the deposit must be in by today to save an addional $500.00  , They misrepresent themselves as a moving company , and they call themselves Home town movers .

While having a hard time doing any research on home town movers , I called another moving company and they informed me that home town movers is really called first call movers . While researching them I find they were on the today show for holding a couples furinture hostage , also found not one good customer review on this company .

My move had to be cancelled because my home sale fell through . I cannot leave my house at the present time . I called " home town movers and they informed me after 1 day my deposit is not refundable .

When it does come time to move , I will if necessary forfit my deposit to go with a more reputable moving company .  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - DO NOT GIVE THEM A DEPOSIT
