First call stated they would pick up our household goods on june 21/22 2013 we sent a deposit of $2821.05 and it is july 03/2013 and the goods are still in storage costing us another months rent . this is the second contract we have as they under bid the first one and said the job couldn't be completeled. we have written them as requested for a refund and gotten nothing but auto replies and no other emails or phone calls. the first contract was for june 1st and becuse they couldnt fulfill their contract that also cost us storage fees.

My storage company had made arreangements with QRS for a friday June 28 pick up.take note 7 days afetr the date I the customer requested . QRS never , NEVER showed up. After talking with their driver he said he was told to go to another job. First Call movers claims no responsibility for this. They said they hired one , not their problem that they never showed. ??? REALLY ?? wasn't that why I hired them to find a PROFESSIONAL DRIVER ??
I have repeated called FIRST CALL MOVERS asking for my refund. Spoke with David in Compliance who tried to bribe me away with a lousy 750. $ Which means they keep 2100. $ for doing absolutely NOTHING ! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM ! False promises , lying, underhanded cheats who need to be out of business.
I have contacted my bank and Mastercard co. and the federal motor carrier safety admin. , The BBB and posted on FB . One day they will get theres and I hope I am here to see it.

A) Pick up on the contract was for june 21/21. Your company could not find a carrier .
B) excerpt from your contract < If we are unable to locate a carrier as of the close of business on the
scheduled pickup date and no transportation has been provided then you will
receive a refund of your deposit as full satisfaction of this Agreement.
C) No carrier was assigned until Wed. June 26 .
D) The carrier finally contacted our storage company had made arrangements for the pick up on Friday june 28th .
E) The carrier did not show and it is documented by our storage company as they normally charge for the pull down of items.
F) The storage company has documented the times they called the carrier and First Call movers and was misinformed as to if and when a carrier would show up.
G) I spoke with the carrier "jeff" sunday july 7th and he told me he was rerouted and told to go to another job.
H) I am still calling and emailing daily and have gotten "someone will call you back " yet no one does but you have the time to answer this online .
I) Your company misrepresented its ability to transport my household goods and owes me MY money back.
J) by accepting this transaction and failing to provide ANY service your company is subject to required to refund the deposit.
K) Do I really need to got thru the whole alphabet to get my point across?
L) Your company said they could provide a service that they did NOT preform , therefore we are entitled to a full REFUND !

We made diligent and thorough efforts at arranging for the requested transportation. We successfully arranged for the transportation and the carrier was ready to arrive for pick-up at Patricia's storage location however the carrier was denied access because he did not give the storage manager 2 days advance notice of his arrival. We contacted the storage manager in an effort to facilitate the carrier's arrival on another date however Patricia then cancelled her move.

I started this contract with Howard back in February 2013 with an pick up date of June 1,2013 and delivery of June 5, 2013 Contract # 5451814.
Your company could NOT find a carrier . So after some discussion my husband and I decided that perhaps you low balled the quote to get the job.
So , we asked for a refund and started a NEW contract with you.
The new contract added $2500. to the original price from our pocket ..not yours ! Our original price was 5497.34 $ and now we are paying 7999.20 $ and it is 23 days after the initial contract scheduled pick up. Second job # 5597098 pick up for Fri/ Sat June 21st and 3 days after the second contract you are still unable to find a carrier. Now I think I have spoken to every person who works at First Call Movers Patty, T , Cat ,Mike ,Julian, Andrew, Ron, Howard and Marion... I can't keep all the names straight and I am still unhappy with the LACK of results.
What I can't seem to grasp is this ...You are a Broker company .
You hire trucks to move things .
That is what you do .. Am I right ?? That is what you do ????
Yet you can NOT seem to get it done for me . And while I appreciate the weight loss from all this stress I do not care for the stress and vomiting and constant arguing with my husband because I have continued faith in your company.
At this point we are 24 days later than initial contract and $ 2500. deeper in debt to you, with a new contract and a new timeline and we have gotten no where.
Being on the priority list has gotten no results.( for either contract. )At this point any and all commission you make on this move should be transfered to the carrier or back to me .You are not fulfilling your obligations on this contract.
WHEN WILL YOU BE ABLE TO GIVE US A DEFINITE ANSWER FOR PICK UP AND DELIVERY ??
This has already cost us a month of storage fees for June and at this point I fear we might have to pay for yet another month (in 6 short days for July storage) if this situation is not taken care of .
Thanks , Hopefully someone will call me and try to resolve this situation.
