First Capital Consumers Group consumer rip-off fraud Ontario

I was contacted on the telephone by First Capital Consumers Group in reference to being pre-approved for a gold Visa with 0% amd a $2500 credit limit. They refernce to being the well known 1st Capital Bank. They stated there was a one-time fee of $199.00 and to expedite matters they could easily deduct it from my checking account.This was all verefied by an operator, so it all sounded legitmate, I then authorized payment for June 3,2002. They took the payment on June 11, 2002. I tried to reach them to find out where my card was and always got a recording saying all circuits were busy and they would take a message and return my call. Which never happened. I then tried to find out any information on the company that I could find. Which led me to here. Linda Galesburg, Illinois
