First Capital Consumers Group They are a total scam and should be held responsible Toronto Ontario Canada

On May 29th we were contacted by First Capital informing us that we have been approved for a Mastercard with a credit limit of $2000 and a Visa with a limit of $2500. They stated that they would be the co-maker for the cards issued. All they needed was a payment of $199 that would be debited from our checking account. Shame on us, because we were fooled and we gave them our account number with permission to debit the account that same day. They told us that we would be issued the cards within 10 business days. It is interesting , because after reading some of the reports on 1st Capital, It seems as if they issued me the same exact pin number as they did a lot of other people. 10 days had passed and nothing came out of our account. I had been given a telephone number of 416-488-4664 to call for customer service. This number only gives you a recorded message stating they will get back to you, which i can guarantee that they never will. WE HAVE CALLER ID, SO WHEN THEY CALLED US BACK FOR VERIFCATION THE NUMBER OF 416-921-1959 SHOWED UP AND WHEN I CALLED THEM BACK IT GETS YOU A LIVE OPERATOR. (OR SHALL I SAY MORON) After getting one excuse after the other, we demanded to speak to a supervisor. After finding out the real story ( or as they told us) we told them DO NOT PROCESS THIS CHARGE!! We are cancelling the account. We then imeadiately called our bank and told them to put a stop on any telephone or electronic debit from this company. Well worth the $25 fee. The man that we spoke with who said his name was Frank Jones and that he was the Office Manager also gave us totally false information about the company and stating that its affliate company was base in Buffalo. We called information withthe name and address given to us only once again to find out it did not exist. EVERYONE.. be aware that any information given to you from this company is false. No one was about to give us the same information twice. Call them at 416-921-1959 and demand to speak to a supervisor. Do not allow them to take your information down and have them say that someone will get back to you. We did that 3 times today and are still waiting for the return call. Good Luck everyone!
