I have already vented in another post. I too have gone through what the rest of you are going through!

But I have little time, and little money to be dealing with this crap so Im gonna play it smart.

I have already contacted and filed complaints with:

1) the Better Business Bureau (www.betterbusinessbureau.com)
2) the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov)

I also contacted the:

3) Attorney General's office of Oregon and filed my complaint.

I would urge you all to do the same, very soon!

I agree with another person who posted on this web site, that the more of us who file official complaints, the faster we may get some help.

Also, if you do send a message or complaint to FCNB by mail, make sure to have the mail "certified". That way the United States Postal Service (www.usps.com) also has a record that you sent the mail. The post office will keep a permanent record of the date you sent the mail, and they can also record when FCNB actually gets the mail. That way FCNB can't claim that you sent it late, or that they never received the mail.

In Tallahassee, Florida it cost me only $4.00 to mail a certified letter. I think its a small price to pay and is well worth it in the long run!

I have sent certified mail complaining to FCNB to the following addresses:

First Consumers National Bank
9310 SW Gemini Drive
Beaverton, OR 97078

Card Processing Center
PO Box 9204
Old Bethpage, NY 11804

First Consumers National Bank
PO Box 5811
Hicksville, NY 11802-5811

NOTE: the PO Box 5811 address, is where they claim to be taking payments. but I too, like the rest of you all, have sent in a check that they still have not deposited!

Unfortunately, FCNB has not yet responded. But at least, now the United States Postal Service has record that I contacted FCNB. Which is just more ammunition when or if it ever comes to a legal battle!

Also, make copies of any and all checks, and complaints you send. That way you also have a copy.

I dont know if it will help any, but these are all the FCNB telephone numbers

(800) 876-1220
(516) 576-8706
(503) 520-8200
(800) 876-3262
(800) 925-4976

If any one can get a human representative with any of these, please let me know, or post it on this site. Lord knows, Ive tried numerous times using all these numbers to no avail.

Im glad to share this information with you all, in hopes that we can actually get something done about this, if we all do it the right way!

If anyone has made any progress on this matter, please let me know. through the rebuttal button.

p.s.
*** CONSIDER THIS ***
If FCNB cannot be contacted, by telephone or by mail, I would suggest you all contact the 3 Credit Bureaus and have them start an investigation that will officially remove FCNB from your credit report! If we cant contact FCNB, chances are neither will the 3 Credit Bureaus. That way, you will not have to worry about FCNB damaging your credit!

The 3 credit bureaus are:
Equifax (http://www.equifax.com)
Experian (http://www.experian.com)
TransUnion (http://www.transunion.com)

This is MY next step in my battle to outsmart FCNB. I would suggest you all try the same!

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, its paid for!

Dear Newton and everyone:
Please read my report, and understand this:
FCNB IS COMPLETELY BANKRUPT. They filed chapter 11. The entire info is in my report.
Take heart people...it may make us boil w/heated anger right now, but looks like the bastards won't be getting away with the late fee's after all >:)

Also, I contacted the Attorney General in Oregon and he sent me to another agency. But, don't stop sending emails or whatever. I also gave him THIS website address and he CAME TO READ!!!!!! LMAO!
Please don't dispare...pay Spiegel or whoever you owe, W/ online payments. They HAVE to receive that money. That's how I've been paying... no late fee's for me!
