First Extended Service Corporation,(FESC) was called from the dealership fixing my vehicle. they were told that my rack and pinion needed to be replaced because it was leaking.
FESC did not call the dealership back, so I called them and asked why. They gave me nothing but the run around. Then all the sudden the dealership got a call.
FESC said that they would replace the Rack and Pinion, BUT would not pay for the Alignment. OK, so anyone that knows about cars, KNOWS that you have to do an alignment after any steering parts are replaced, BUT because the contract excludes alignments, they will not pay for it.
This is a load of CRAP! I paid 1400.00 for the contract, they replace a 200.00 part and they wont pay for a 90.00 alignment. True SCAMMERS. Personally, I would have been better not to even bought the warranty and never will.
Hopefully people will see this and others that have reported this company!

I don't know of any vehicle made, that the cost of replacing a rack would only be $200.00, parts and labor included. If so, that is a heck of a deal, especially done at a dealership. As for your issue that FESC should pay for the alignment, even though you agree the contract says it is not included, Shame on them.
These people are so bad, that even after the extended warranty program ends, I can almost bet that they wont fix anything that might break. The nerve of them to think that just because the contract says the warranty ends after 60k miles, that they would even think that just because you might have 120k that this would release them from fixing it.
Thanks for pointing out to me, that they think they can get out of things just because the contract says they are not responsible. The customer decides what they have to do, even if we didnt pay for the service.
