April 31, 2012 purchased a 1969 SS Camaro Clone from Fleming's Ulitmate Garage. The car was stock #879N and the price of the car was $44,900.00 which is top dollar for a clone car. Approximately one month later the car arrived in an enclosed trailer with both driver and passenger windows down, which was strange for shipping a $45,000 car in an enclosed trailer. After getting the car off the trailer I found out why the windows were down, the doors on both sides were so far out of alignment that the doors would not shut with the windows rolled up. The very next morning I called Fleming's and spoke to sales manager Matt Holtzman about the problems I found. Matt informed me to get an estimate on the repair for the door problems and they would take care of it. Took the car to a local body shop and had it repaired. It took the body shop 6 hours of labor to complete the repairs. Called Matt Holtzman back and told him what it cost and his comments were that it was very reasonable and cheap. He then told me to fax the bill to him and he would get me reimbursed. I faxed the bill the next day. Now it's been over two months and I have not received a check. They will not reply to my emails or phone calls. I also sent a certified letter to the owner, Tony Fleming, which I received the return receipt signed, but no response. The car was advertised as having a Muncie 4 speed transmission, it has a lessor quality transmission (Saginaw). The videos and spec sheet are still on their website. From day one I have asked them for a build sheet and still do not have it. The minute I wired the $45,000 to them, seems like I dropped of the face of the earth. They could have cared less about me or the car from that point on. There were countless other probems that I fixed on my own also. They advertised this car as good or better than the day the 69 Camaro orginally rolled off the factory floor (doors won't shut?) I feel Flemings Garage will tell you anything to get the sale even if it's a lie.

We are stuck with a Corvette with the same problems. They even have it advertised as ready to drive and show and it sits in our garage. We are taking them to court. Everyone who has been taken by them should do the same and stop them from screwing innocent people. They are so arrogant and think they are doing nothing wrong. We put oil in it and the next day it looked like it was poured directly on the floor.
They advertised it has rare working factory air. We told them about this and his answer was the plugs must have come loose during transport. Really while it is strapped and sitting still in a truck. The screws don't match and are rusted. The stuck it together and said it was restored and according to them that is what we deserved for $30,000.
Hope you get yours resolved without going to court but they won't even talk to us or respond to my certified letter. We had no other choice but to contact our lawyer and hope for a fair outcome.
