I received twice a fax invoice for $ 6000.00 for "One list of business records randomly pulled-nationwide" then requested our credit card. The invoice is addressed to Kevin Batesman in Utah. Obviously this is a bogus invoice!!

I just got the same fax this morning at my office. There is not such street or zip code in San Diego County. The stupid part is, how do these scammers expect to get any money if they provide any legitimate contact information like a even a phone number? This stuff is going in the "round file" very soon.

I just received the exact same fax, twice in fact, both dated April 2004. I was racking my brain about this invoice and as soon as I typed it into google, I ended up here. Thank goodness for website like this one.

My company also received this same $6,000 invoice Bill to and Ship to also Kevin Batesman. I did find it weird that is was faxed over at 3:25 AM on a Saturday according to our fax machine records. But, I thought it might of been something the owner of our company purchased and had drop shipped until I researched on google for the phone number to Forsythe Data Equipment Co. then found that it was a scam. I'm glad I researched! Thank You Rip Off Report.com

Where Do You Send Payment?

I looked up the address given and it says it can't be found. I tried to look up the zip code on the US Postal Service locator and it said 90987 couldn't be found. Is there a different address to mail a payment to on this invoice? I'm curious as to whether or not this may be an "across the border" scam.
