I was looking for different work oportunities and came across Freelance Home Workers. They advertise for a once off fee of $2,95 you would be able to peruse their offer for one week. Thereafter, you would be billed monthly for 3 months.
I immediately sent an email confirming my desire to cancel. There is no facility on their website to deactivate or cancel the membership.
Residing in Australia, I am unable to make telephonic contact as it is only a toll-free number in the States.

I apologize for the confusion, however the $2.95 charge that you are referring to is for the 7 day trial membership for Freelance Home Writers. After the 7 day trial ends if we have not yet received a cancellation notice from you, you will be automatically charged $47 per month as stated on the website. We also have the option for you to upgrade to the VIP membership in which you pay $97, you will not pay anything else for 3 months. At the end of the 3 month period you will pay $9.97 per month.
You stated that you sent email requesting cancellation. We keep all of the emails that are received in a database. I have searched through the entire database using the email address we have on file and was unable to locate it. I have cancelled your membership and refunded you in the amount of $47, please allow 7 to 10 business days to show credit to your account. If you have any further questions please call us at 1-800-750-7660. We are available from 8am to 12 mid weekdays. And 8am to 5pm on Saturday & Sunday CST.
