Freelance Home Writers offers a joining fee of just $2.95 and found on my bank statement that my credit card was debted $47 USD twice, and I hadn't even used it to see if they actually pay for written articles. I dont intend to submit any of my writing now as I don't trust them and will never trust them now after the initial rip off. If you are tempted to join them, at least be warned they will rip you off before anything else happens.

Freelance Home Writers- Read Everything Before Signing Up- Other Recommendations

I completely agree. You need to read everthing on the site before signing up. I checked my bank account this morning and there was a withdrawl of 47.00. I couldn't remeber agreeing to the withdrawl so I visited the website. If you click on billing questions it specifically states that the 47.00 will be withdrawn from your account if you do not cancel your membership within 7 days. Unfortunately, I didn't read everthing on the site before or after I signed up, but I learned a valuable lesson. This site still feels like a rip-off. A few hours of online research will give you better information than this site supplies. If you are still interested in freelance writing please check out ODesk or ELance. Don't let one bad experience stop you from becoming a freelance writer.

Read the entire web page before you sign up for anything online

I am so sorry to be rude but its frustrating to see all these people write about how they got ripped off by this company. When you sign up it says PLAIN AS DAY that there will be a monthly charge of $47. The only reason people say they get ripped off with this company is because they are in to big of a hurry to read what they are signing up for. When I hear of all these people saying they got ripped off I just want to say "are you stupid" because like I said it says they will charge you $47 and its not in fine print or anything. It is in normal type in the middle of the page, all you have to do is READ. In my opinion if you are going to give someone your credit card info and not read the entire web page then you deserve to be "ripped off" as you would say.
