Feeling like one of many disconcerted full tilt idiots. Only been playing on full tilt for a couple of months but have been playing internet poker for a couple of years. Not had any problems till now!
After making a $40 welcome deposit received plenty beats call it bad luck if you like, i call it something else. I left the site alone for a month until my welcome period had expired hoping my luck would change. Sure my luck changed i deposited $20 and turned it into $200.
This is where i got mugged, tried to withdraw $140 of my winnings and then two days later received an email telling me my account had basically been frozen and they wanted copies front and back of my bank card, passport, bills my whole identity. like i would be so foolish as to give my life to the most corrupt site around.
Please if there is any advice on offer i would be very grateful.

Play your poker at a legal, licensed casino or cardroom. The online sites are outside the jurisdiction of U.S. courts and laws, and therefore are not accountable to anyone. They can do whatever they want with your money and you have no recourse. On top of that, you have absolutely no idea what is on the other end of your Internet connection. Is it a fair game? Are there shills at the table? Are your cards visible?
Frankly, the amount of trust required to play at these sites is beyond what any reasonable gambler would (or should) consider acceptable. I know several medium and high stakes players and they will only play online for fun.
