Future Ford Installs defective/cheap parts Roseville California

I own a 1998 SUV I bought here back in 2000. So it was overheating in Dec 2007. It's expected at some point, right? I paid for the repair which required a new radiator. In August 2008, the replacement radiator failed. Since it was installed less than a year, they replaced it for free per warranty for the part. OK, all's fine. Then, in April 2009, the replacement replacement radiator also failed within a year! However, this time they refused to replace the bad radiator that they put in, stating that the warranty applies only to the original part. Crazy, eh? So, afraid to have yet another defective radiator put in with a shelf life of 9 months, I brought the SUV to a recommended local repair place, who confirmed that yes it was a bad radiator. They replaced it and all is well. I think Future Ford should have stood by their parts and did the right thing, no matter what the "fine print" states.

So, Avoid this dealership for parts and service because their "policy" states that they can can stick in any replacement part and not stand behind that part, even if it's a few months--or hours--old if the ORIGINAL part replaced is out of time.
