Unbelieably these guys are a sponsored link on Ebay.... While looking for a copy of Microsoft Office i clicked on their link which took me to their website--Future Network Solutions

There they offered a quick download of the suite with a promise to mail the hard copy in short order----------

that's where any professionalism ended.

When i went to activate my copy of Office--Microsoft indicated that the product key was already in  use-OK--no problem--I'll just contact the company-Wrong!!

These guys don't even exist other than their presence on the web

Since i was getting software for someone else i definately needed my hard copy which never arrived!!

Many, many attempts to contact the company completely failed--no live online help--no response to my messages and no returned calls from the many voicemails i had left.

The whole time I did not fret too much because i used Paypal to fund the purchase and Paypal is a rock solid company------soooo-------Imagine my surprise when i went to Paypal to claim my refund--

and------------

I WAS REFUSED!!!!  No refunds on "virtual" purchases! 

These criminals know exactly what they are doing--i was blown away.  Confidentially--the paypal rep--who was way cool---indicated that this was an ongoing scam which they were helpless to fend off. He offered to "look" into it but offered little else.

2 days later i was issued a refund by Paypal by virtue of seller's fees that had formerly been charged to my account in the exact amount of my purchase with Future Network Solutions.  It appeared that the paypal rep took pity on me--not to mention i've used them for countless transactions over the years.

Bottom line--these crooks got away with my money---and i'm not the only one.!!  I know i could contact atty. generals and other agencies, etc., etc......but who has time?? And that's what they bank on--Americans like me who lost a mere $80.00 and who have alot more things to do than shake down petty thieves for $80.00!!

Can someone do something though??
