Galerie Concorde Been trying to sell our painting for almost 9 years, and STILL waiting! Montreal Quebec Canada

Okay, after reading through some of the other entries on this site, I am so thankful that we did not spend more than we did.

We were contacted in 1999 through my husbands place of work (he is a pharmacist). The original contact was Michael Knox. He convinced us to "invest" in a painting that was from artist Guy Begin. It arrived, and we consistantly checked in with Galerie Concorde to find out the value and where we were on the infamous "LIST."

After a couple years, we were told that Michael Knox was no longer with Galerie Concorde, and that Harold Sendel would be our new representative. It usually took 3 to 4 phone calls/voice messages to get a return call. Sometimes he never called back.

We were #9 in line to sell our painting on 11-18-99, #2 in 1-9-04, and still holding at #2 as of today, 4-2-08.

So after nine years of this annoying game of phone tag, and never being able to sell what we were told would be a profitable sale for us, we are convinced that this is a total SCAM.

And to make matters worse, my husband changed locations with his job, and was recently contacted at his new pharmacy by Galerie Concorde to "invest" in a steal of a deal painting that would make us rich! Of course, they had no idea that my husband was already a "client."

I would be curious to see how many of us were contacted at work and how many are pharmacists.

DO NOT BUY--YOU ARE THROWING YOUR MONEY OUT THE WINDOW.

If anyone out there is filing legal action, feel free to contact us. We are sure there are hundreds of stories just like ours.
