gamestop extended warranty fraud crystal lake, Illinois

Purchased a xbox 360. And I bought the 2 year extended warranty. My xbox broke before a year. Didn't have the receipt anymore. There was however a serial number attached to my xbox put there by game stop. So I figured that I would be okay. I took it in the store and they told me that that was the wrong serial number and they couldn't take it back because the real serial number was on the receipt and I didn't have the receipt. Which is utter bullshit. Customer support told me the same thing. I called microsoft and they listen to me. Never went back to that game stop until my friend wanted to buy a used x box 360. the inside of the disk tray had hair in it. Took it back and they replaced it and we take it home and they didn't give us the power brick. Went back and got the power brick and the xbox has the red ring. Game stop doesn't suck but these people sure do
