GE CAPITAL CONS CARDCO CARECREDIT Ripoff, Unjustified late fees, undisclosed APR on application. Louisville Kentucky

I applied for a "Care Credit" account to have a medical procedure performed that was not covered by my medical insurance provider here in Pgh, PA. The application stated that there would be a 6 month "same as cash" period with no APR. Upon recieving my first bill, it stated that the 6 month period was really a 3 month period, and that the APR (listed as 9.99% in the application was really 21.98%, a difference of over 12%). I have perfect credit, with a few cards supporting over $15,000 limits, and have just received a vehicle loan for over $30,000 based upon my perfect credit. Now these idiots come along, lie on their applications at the medical center where the procedure was performed, fail to disclose all the above information, and unfairly lead those of us that require medical treatment into believing that they can help with procedures not included in our benefits.

In addition, after receiving my first bill for $75, I immediately mailed my payment, allowing 15 days for the mail to deliver my check prior to the late period. GE Capital Cons Cardco then charged me a late fee and imposed a "past due" balance that was already paid.
I've only had this account for 2 months and am already so disgusted that I've transferred the balance to another lower interest credit card and cancelled the account.
Anyone using the following services please beware, they use Care Credit as their primary source of financial support for those who don't have enough money for their services or don't have insurance coverage for these services:
