GE Capital Cons Cardco ripoff always a late fee Louisville Kentucky

I financed an engagement/wedding ring set through GE Capital Cons (cons consumers) Cardco. I have been paying on the balance for 2 1/2 years and it has only gone down less than $200. This tells you of their high interest rate.

I have mailed payments well in advance of the due date (at least 1 week) and have still been charged a late fee. My last payment was mailed March 25, 2003 with a due date of April 1, 2003. The payment was posted (suspiciously) on April 2, 2003 resulting in a late fee of $29. I am sure that the USPS doesn't take more than 3 or 4 days to deliver the mail.

When I received notice of this last late fee, I immediately mailed a check on April 10, 2003 (with a due date of May 1, 2003) to pay off the balance plus the late fee. I want this rip-off company out of my life forever.

I will report back with what response I get from them on this latest transaction.
