GE Capital I was scammed by someone using your name GE Capital. Their e-mail is gecapital.loanfirm@gmail.com. Please see the letter I received. They are debt consolidators. I have never done this before as I was needed a bridge to get me through until my crops were harvested and chose this company. They scammed me $2650. North Carolina

I was scammed by someone using your name GE Capital.   They are debt consolidators.   I have never done this before as I was needed a bridge to get me through until my crops were harvested and chose this company.  They scammed me $2650.  

They paid my credit cards, had me go purchase gift cards with the paid up credit cards, telling me I needed to repair my credit, which was good to start off with as this is why I was wanting the bridge so my credit would not take a hit.  I questioned then and I wish I would have stopped there.  Then the money they paid with from Bank of America and Wells Fargo bank accounts did not go through and thus my credit cards are maxed out, I can’t pay currently.  I looked on my credit cards to make sure everything was paid, which it was, before I purchased the cards.  I was notified by my credit card companies that the payments did not go through.   I called the GE Capital several times and got a run around, told me my personal loan officer was on a month vacation, and finally they will not return my calls.  Their number is 910-889-1699 (North Carolina).  While I was able to still communicate with them they also gave me a number of 682-207-8509, extension 410.  Number in Houston, TX.  This belongs supposedly to a Brian Hobbs and I did speak to him and he assured me this was no scam and he would take care of me directly which of course I can no longer get in touch.  I think they have blocked my number.  They also gave me a number of Jones Bencell from California.  His number is 225-348-5953 of which I called several times.  This gentleman finally answered and said I was calling him at work and was very upset and belligerent that I was contacting him.  I tried to explain but he was not having it.  I felt bad that he had been scammed by them also as they gave me his number also.
