General Radiator: Jim Porges DO NOT TRUST GENERAL RADIATOR chicago Illinois

General Radiator is the WORST COMPANY EVER!!! Buyers Beware...I ordered a factory second radaitor for my tractor-trailer, when I opened the box it was already damaged with 2 holes. I contacted Jim Porges at General Radiator-the person in charge of making decisions about these things- He put me on hold for extended periods of time, he was rude, and he's a disrespectful con artist. I repeatedly told him that I wanted to return the radiator for a refund, ignoring my request he suggested that I spend my valuable time running around town to find different radiator shops that they would work with to get the radaitor repaired.

Once I told him the price the 1st shop wanted for a repair he told me they would not pay and to find another shop. Once I got to the second shop and gave him the price, he then wanted me to pay the shipping AND freight charges to have the radiator sent back to them to be repaired. Once I explained that I would not pay for shipping and freight that I already paid for to have the radiator sent to me, he then had the audacity to suggest that I just pay for the radiator repairs myself to get my truck back up and running, as if he was dong me a favor and I didn't just pay $500 for a radiator.  Negating the fact that it is highly unlikely that 2 HOLES could be put into the radiator during shipping.

General Radiator has the worst customer service ever and bad business practices. I am still losing money dealing with this company. I will never recommend them to anyone and this is the 1st of many steps in getting my money back.
