GEO HOLIDAY 13 years ago we were pressured to sign a contract. We paid them in full ( $10,000). For the past 2 years we are trying to break the contract. We are retired and can no longer afford their yearly maintenance fees. They refuse to end our contract.this year GEOs' prisoner Toronto Ontario

As I have explained. 13 years ago my husband and I were locked in a tiny conference room where we were pressured to sign a contract that has become a nightmare. at the time we paid $10,000 which was the amount that would get us enough points for one trip every two years. In addition we had to pay some $380.00 maintenance fee ( was not told that it would be in US currency ). today we are retired and due to health reasons we can not travel. A year ago we tried to cancel our contract and we were told that upon pavement of &1,000 we could be off the hook.

a year has passed since then and we contacted them to cancell. Turns out that the $1,000 deal is OFF. There is no way out of this situation. It took us a year to put that money together and now are hopes are shatered. To top it all the $380.00 fee has now risen to close to $600.00 US. We are two retires who can not travel, no employment income and stuck paying for services we have NOT used for over 8 years. we are throwing our money away on some fraudulant company that is stealing from the poor in order to fill their own pockets. we would take them to court if we had the money. Unfortunately we don't and we also do not enough funds to pay this years maintenance fee. We decided not to pay. If they are going to send the collection agencies after us, so be it. We will not give them the satisfaction of knowing that they ara invincable  and voluntarily placing our heads on the "butcher block". We can't believe that with all the complaints and multitude of letters from honest people the government of canada/ ontario would let a company such as GEO HOLIDAY remain in business. we are sick to our stomach at the message that is being sent into the public confirming that " it is OK in Canada" to cheat and embezlzle the public.
