getmyhomesvalue.com is telemarketing REALTORS (I'm presuming around the U.S.) and selling them what is considered "Hot Leads" for sellers interested in listing their homes. They claim that they have a web site that consumers visit, from which the leads are obtained, but that their "coaches" or "assistants" will be screening these leads before they are passed on to the subscriber/Realtor. Realtors buy zip codes at high prices (my two zip codes cost $998/month and the contract was for 6 months), however, if they do the pre-screening, it is worth the money.

NOT ONE Realtor who has subscribed has had the benefit they tout. The leads are bogus, unscreened, and unverified, if and when the Realtor receives any. Some Realtors have been charged (credit card) and never signed up for the service, now cannot get their money back. There are MULTITUDES of us. We have all tried to cancel these contracts, but the company is claiming we are under contract and make collection threats. Most agents have had to cancel credit cards completely or change bank accounts. They have also violated their privacy policy, stated on their web site. We'd like to get a CLASS ACTION SUIT against them, but do not know where to start or whom to contact.

I would like to reply to those who have been upset by this company.

First of all, I have seen the contract, allI had to do was ask.No where in the contract does it say that the leads will be legite leads. They offer you exclusiveity of the leads for the zipcodes you subscribe to. NO ONE
I have been helping a friend in the Real Estate business and I have looked into many a company. Most companies only offer 1 year subscriptions, Get My Homes Value.com offers 6 months or 3 months. It was explained that it could take that long for us to see results.

Did you ask questions, did you ask to see the contract, or did you imagine that they were going to hand you your commision on a silver plate? They give you leads, if they can not verify them, you will have to get off your lazy butt and work the lead. All you need is a valid address and access to tax records. Sure, My friend gets what you call Bogus leads, but, all she needs is a valid address and the listing is hers.

If you were dumb enough to not ask questions, not ask to see the contract, and gave them your credit card info anyway.... Tough luck. WOrk the leads you get and quit complaining. Cancel your subscription at the end of your contract and be more wiser before you sign up with another company.
