For Christmas 2010, I tried to make thing easy by ordering Gift Card for all family and friends.  I purchased several from a place called Gift Card Mall as this seemed to have a nice variety.

To keep this short and sweet, I have NEVER experienced worse service in my entire life.  I have never done anything like this before but I wanted to take the time out my busy schedule to inform everyone about the risks of doing business with this company.

First, you need to know that I am a very savvy internet shopper.  I buy everything online...from home appliances, all gifts and even my car. I know the drill.

The first issue with this company was the shipping.  I ordered for Christmas, selected a delivery date prior to Christmas and unfortunately none of the cards that I shipped arrived on time.  I odrered these well in advance, and when I called customer service on the 22nd, they informed me that the date I selected online was a shipping date and at that point they had no means of isseuing cards peior to the holiday.  No means?  It is just a piece of plastic last time I checked.

The second issue was with activation.  None of the recipiants received activation codes.  So I called Gift Card Mall and they said they were sent to me....for security reasons???  I received none.  So now I have several friends and family who received a gift late, and now cannot use.  To make matters worse, they cannot send the activation code until 3-5 days and they have to come to me...not the gift recipiant.  Again, for our security.

Finally, sick of delaing with this company, I asked to return everything.  Come to find out, they have a scrict no return policy.  Something that was never mentioned during the purchase.  When I asked where it bsaid that, they pointed me to a FAQs at the bottom of the web site.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

GiftCardMall.com did the same thing to me!

AUTHOR: ShopperX - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 16, 2010

The people at GiftCardMall.com do not act like they care anything about their customers. I ordered an electronic gift on Feb 11th. I specified that it should ne delivered on Feb 14th. The person never got the gift card. They charged me $50.00 for nothing. I called them 3 times. They did not help me in any way. I wrote them 3 times. They never wrote back. They are the most horrible company I have ever dealt with.
