The people at GiftCardMall.com are without a doubt the most incompetent people I have ever come into contact with. I ordered a gift card to be electronically sent to a friend of mine on February 14th, which is today. I ordered it 3 days ago! They had three days to process my order correctly. The website said that my gift would be sent to the recipient at 10:00am pacific time. I ordered this gift card through an I-Tunes Facebook page. Its an I-Tunes page, but for some reason the electronic gift cards are sold through GiftCardMall.com. Sounds pretty a*s backwards doesn't it? The gift card never got to my friend, but those idiots were able to charge my card for $50.00. Yeah, they had no problem at all doing that! That's not the best part.
I called their horrible customer service department three times. The first time I talked to some girl who sounded like she had just woke up from a long nap. She had no idea what the hell she was talking about. She tried to tell me that it was delivered on the February 11th. The card was not delivered on the 11th obviously because I know the other person didn't get it, plus I selected the 14th as the delivery date. She didn't do anything to help me except write up a ticket, give me some stupid number, and tell me it was going to take 2 days to investigate my order. I called back immediately to see if I could speak to somebody with half a brain in their head. This time I got a woman who was much more intelligent and more professional; however she also didn't do anything to help me. She just wrote up another ticket and told me it would take 2 days to investigate my order again.
Finally, I called back a third time and asked for a refund. This was when I felt like I was about to have an aneurism. She told me that in order for me to get a refund it had to be investigated for 2 days and that they had no control over it. I asked her to give me the number to the person who would be investigating the order. She said she didn't know. I asked her if they worked in the same building. She said no. I asked if she knew where they were located. She said she didn't know. I said thanks for nothing and hung up on her a*s. I sent them an e-mail telling them exactly what I thought about their company and asking for a refund. I suppose it will take 2 days for them to get back to me. Two seems to be their magic number. Now I have a great question. What is the use of having a customer service department when the people have no authority to reward a refund or investigate an order? They already have the FAQs plastered all over their website. I probably knew more about their policies and product then they did. So the only reason anybody would call them is if they have a real problem. They should be able to fix just about any problem by pushing a few buttons.
I paid $50.00 for this gift and I don't want it delivered 2 days late. I want it delivered on the day that I specified. It's not rocket science. They should be able to deliver the gift within seconds since it's done electronically and doesn't require any shipping. Does it make sense to have a electronic gift delivered a day after February 14th? No, it doesnt. They say they have a strict no money back policy, but Im going to get my money back if I have to move a mountain. I don't know whatelse to say about this company other than it was by far the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Do not buy the electronic gift cards offered on facebook. If you want a good experience, go directly into your I-Tunes program and select to have the gift certificate sent directly via e-mail. Do not choose to purchase the gift through facebook. That is what I did after GiftCardMall.com failed me and it went through flawlessly. In fact, everytime you buy directly from Apple it seems to be like going to heaven. Their people are so kind and professional, and much smarter. Unlike the employees at GiftCardMall.com. They're idiots. Avoid them!

Well GiftCardMall.com did eventually do what they had promised me. This happened months ago, I just forgot about it. Since they did what they wanted I was going to take this report down, but Ripoff won't do that. They explained their reasons and they are good ones. So I'm sorry for that GiftCardMall.com. However, if the job had gotten done right in the first place I would have never written it.

Is GiftCardMall.com trying to give me a heart attack? I finally got tired of waiting for them to call me so I called them to find out what the hell the problem was. They told me that their second level team had already been notified about the issue and that she would talk to the person when she came in. This is the start of the third week! Still they have not delivered my electronic gift card. Amazing! I think I know what the problem is at GiftCardMall.com. I noticed that in the background I could hear a bunch of people partying it up. I wish they would have invited me. Crack open a bottle for me! I haven't heard people having that much fun in a long time. I'm a pretty laid back person. I like to have fun at work, but clearly they have too much fun there. Dear God, make them stop. Please make them stop. Just send the person another e-mail! That's all they have to do! How can something so easy be so hard to do for them! There is something seriously wrong with this company. Don't give GiftCardMall.com a penny of your money or a second of your time!

GiftCardMall.com finally wrote me back and told me I would recieve a refund and the recipient would be sent the gift. I was very happy with this. They did refund me my money, but when I asked the recipient if they got the gift code they told me that they recieved 2 e-mails from GiftCardMall.com without the code. I e-mailed GiftCardMall.com twice. It took them 3 days to respond. When they did respond it was only to tell me that my issue was "escalated" to the second level team and that it would take another 1-2 business days for them to contact me. 2 days went by and I still have not heard back from them. These are guys are good. NOT! HAHAHA!

GiftCardMall.com finally contacted me and told me that not only would the recipient receive the gift card, but I would recieved a refund as well. I was very happy with that. Then I talked to the person who was supposed to get the card 2 days later and they tell me that they recieved 2 e-mails from GiftCardMall.com, but there wasn't a redemption code in either e-mail. For the love of God. Sending a gift to somebody should not be this hard! I wrote them again to see what the problem is. Hopefully I hear back from them soon.

Well it has been 2 days and nobody from Giftcardmall.com has called me or e-mailed me. What happened to the lucky number 2 Giftcardmall.com? I thought 2 was your answer to everything. I'm starting to get a little upset here. I'm going to write them a couple times a day until they give me a refund. I'll probably call them too.
