Giuffre Kia  428 89th Street Brooklyn, NY 11209 is the worst dealership I have ever encountered in my last 40 years of car buying. I live on Long Islands east end. I called this horrible dealership at 9am and inquired about a car on Auto Trader with Vin Number . I asked if the car was in there possession and if I could see it . They assured me it was on the showroom floor and I could put a deposit on it. I explained it was a 2 1/2 hour ride to get there.

The sales girl then transferred me to the Manager , he in turn told me the car was there and ready for delivery and they could do the paper work that day. I being fooled took the 2 1/2 hour trip and showed up at the dealer . When I arrived at the dealer, They told me the Kia Sole was at a different lot and that someone would be driving it over to show me. I waited a hour. Then they told me the lot closed and was locked up and they couldn't get it out. I then informed them I wanted to buy the Soul and that I wanted to a deposit on the Soul and showed them the add with the vin number.

They drew the papers up . Then asked me to wait for a manager to come over and discuss the details. We waited another hour . I became very angry and explained to several sales people the details of my day and then demanded to speak to a manger. Another half hour went by. The manager came over, never said his name , and started the bogus bait and switch routine. He actually continued the lie for another half hour and then said the Soul was just sold at the other dealer show room. These dealership should be closed down and fined . Do not even read a add that they print, it is all a Lie .

Most car dealers are sleazy business people.  The only thing wrong with what you did is to let them play you at all.  As soon as they told you the car was not there and that they had lied about it being on the showroom floor, you should just leave.  Then they left you cooling your heels for a couple hours?  That was not an accident and I would never wait for more that 10 minutes.

I have indeed walked out of car dealers when I sense they are playing me.  It surprises them because they are used to being 'in charge'.  Don't let them do it.  They need you, you don't need them.
