I received a scratch off in the mail. Before I went to Giuffre I read the fine print & called & spoke with "Dan" who assured me I was a gauranteed winner of a 2007 Kia Sorento. I asked was there a specific way the scratch off was to be scratched off. He stated if I had any 3 of the same in a row I was a gauranteed winner. I had 3 of the same black cars in a horizontal row. When I went in they gave me the run around & offered me a $1,000 check to be used only towards a purchase of another vehicle. The advertisement states "Scratch off you play box, if you have 3 in a row you are a gauranteed winner!" Winning an offer to purchase a vehicle is a big difference than actually winning a vehicle. The only way I would drive a KIa anything is if it were for free.

Actually yes, people have won

Russ,

My Mother did win a free Kia with one of those tickets. Worth about what she paid for it ($0), but sometimes people do win

Question for Car Dealership Employee "Brooklyn"

AUTHOR: Russ - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 16, 2007

Has your dealership ever given out one of those "useless" scratch tickets that came back a winner for a free car? Ever?
Didn't think so.

$1000 Online Shopping Spree is a SCAM

AUTHOR: Dave - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 16, 2007

Who ever the low-life was that resonded to this report by saying "you were offered a $1000 on-line shopping spree" should be hung from the highest tree in the state.

You know that shopping spree is completely worthless and a scam! It's only a ruse to get people in to buy your crappy POS cars.

For those of you that don't know, this "shopping spree' consists of ordering dollar-store items from a web site, such as freeprizeamerica or similar. The products are outrageously priced, such as $10.00 for a keychain flashlight, which costs about $.79, then charging you $5.00 or more for shipping. AND, the best part, is you can't combine items for shipping, each item purchased gets a shipping charge of $5 to $100 or more.

So, with that $1000.00, you get about $20.00 in real merchandise, and the rest is shipping charges. Pretty slick, just like the scumbag car salesman that answered this complaint.

The report againts Giuffre Kia is false and unnecessary ! !

AUTHOR: - - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 16, 2007

Renee, you were a gauranteed winner when you came down here and you did win a prize. The scratch off you received clearly stated that if you have 3 in row you have won (1) A 2007 KIA Sorento or $22,000 in cash OR (2) a $1,000 on line shopping spree. We match up your winning ticket with the prize broad and the 3 black cars gave your prize which was a $1000 on line spree and $2500 off selected vehicles. You did not have to buy anything or purchase a vehicle you could of took the on line shopping spree for a $1,000 and forfeited the $2500 off a vehicle which people have done if there not interested in a car. You refused to take your prize which is understandable you were told something different over the phone or there was a misunderstanding of some sort but it was unnecessary to fill a report. Thank you

FREE?

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 20, 2007

Be careful! Unfortunately, I own one of these disposable cars and if I had it to do over again, I WOULD NOT BUY A KIA or DRIVE ONE - EVEN IF IT WERE FOR FREE! A totally unreliable vehicle and company. It was my first Kia and will be my last. One more year to go on my warranty, then THAT's IT!
