Placed an order. began to recieve multiple emails daily about sales and promotions from the company after I signed up. The glasses were produced and sent to quality assurance. Once they were in "quality assurance" for 3 business days I decided to email about the status.

I got back a form-letter type of reply with no information about the shipping date or the status of the glasses. Upon emailling a second time I received a tracking number. The tracking number lists the order is in "pre-shipment" and according to the post office they never received the product. Additonally, the website still shows my glasses are in quality assurance. 

I emailed again a 3rd time to determine if the glasses were actually shipped and I received no reply. When I finally called I received a busy signal for 10 minutes when calling a professional company with an 800 number in 2014. I continually called till it rang thru and I did get a nice guy on the phone for customer service that explained to me the glasses shipped on March 3rd (4 business days ago). The order status on their site has not updates, the glasses are still in "qulaity assurance" and the post office still claims they do not have the package. 

This customer service rep informed me that there was no manager or supervisor currently onsite for me to talk to. He explained to me that when they ship they send a BULK BOX to the post office and the post office must not have opened it yet. He also told me that they receive alot of compalints about that. Its been 4 days and the post office hasnt opened their box to distrobute the items. This is not a proper way of doing business. USPS is consistantly unreliable and now so is glassesusa. I strongly advise you avoid buying from here.

I had a very different experience

I have ordered 2 pairs of glassess from this company. The first pair arrived exactly when they said it would, and I was quite pleased with the product. I recently ordered another pair, sunglasses this time. My only complaint was that this pair took a few days longer than the first pair did. I asked them why they were still in production when they said it would only take 6 business days. I asked them on the 7th, and 8th business day. Finally, someone helpful apologized and admitted they dropped the ball, and the next thing I knew, they were in quality assurance on Sunday 5/22. I told them I felt I deserved free expedited shipping for the delay, and when I checked my email the next day (5/23), the glasses were scheduled to be delivered today (5/26). While I was quite surprised to find out that GlassesUSA actually ships out of Israel, I haven't had any reason to feel they are an illegitimate or criminal enterprise. I have received 2 high quality products from them, and only minor grumblings to complain about.
