GO DADDY abusive renewal tactics Scottsdale, Arizona

The aggressive marketing approach of go daddy means that a huge amount of emails are received and there might have been a notice to raid my account but certainly nothing asking permission.

The current situation comes on top of an attempt to charge a pre paid debit card for another program. The notice that there was not enough money on the card is how I found out about this attempt. When I called to express my anger I was assured that all such raids on bank accounts were to be stopped. The very next day I got the notice telling me of the renewal. Naturally I went ballistic and was informed that I would be receiving a refund,an event that has yet to manifest itself. When I complained further about the bank fees and other negative situations caused by Go Daddy's aggressive behavior I was informed that as a gesture of good will Go Daddy would ask the bank to drop the over drawn fees the raid on my account caused. Still waiting on this also.

All I know is that I am out money as a result of go daddy and the aggressive cash snatch behavior that is the ethos of the company. I put Go Daddy in the definite stay away from category.
