GOTECH FINANCIAL Rip-off! They said they wouldn't charge me then they did. Internet

A representative called me on my cellphone offering me a great deal on a Visa card. I went through the process and accepted the offer. Three days later they called me again and said something happened with my paperwork and that I needed to apply again, and i went through the process once more. This time I was given a tracking number for my package, and they gave me a website to check into.

I tried to pull the website up and it sent me to ripoff.com. I started reading the comments on Gotech Financial and realized I may become a victim. I called the number to cancel this transaction. I stayed on hold for quite awhile. On 5/24/2004 I spoke with Jason Bittle and he advised me that my card had not been approved and my account would not be charged. I thanked him and hung up the phone.

Today 6/2/2004 I checked my account and this company is attempting to collect this money; I never received a package, and I called and cancelled long distance they offered. I am going to have to close my account now and I am now out of 219.00 that me being a single mother needed.

People who scam others need to be taken down. I feel I work to hard for some fast-talking con artist(s) to take my money. I don't understand how people work for a company like this. I would have felt better if they had at least sent a fake card or something.
