GoTech Financial SCAMM!!! ripoff Promises are made to be broken is the GoTech slogan. Saint George Utah

I received a phone call one day while at work from a GoTech representative. The man on the other end promissed a credit card of my choice (Mastercard or Visa)in the amount of $5,000. I proceeded to ask several times is this an "up to $5,000" deal, he assured me it was not and I was pre-approved for the $5,000. He said the application was $189 and UPS for my package was $29. He did say that the $29 for shipping was non-refundable which is understandable if this was the great deal as presented and it was being flown in over night. He explained there was a yes/no verification process of name, address etc. So I went through it stopping him several times during to ask questions were I was made to begin again from the beginning.

The funds were posted to my bank account on 4/10/04 and I received this UPS package last Wed. 4/28/04.. sounds like a $29 shipping priority for a paperback book of I don't know 50 pages or so. This "packet" has a web site link for a free gift. I called customer service to ask how long before I recieve the card, and was asked if my packet had came I said yes and was told to go to the site to get the card sent to me.

I went to the site were I found a bunch of links for card offers but nothing garaunteed. I called back and was told call tapes will be pulled we will call you back. I call today and the said they came back clean and not mis-represented. I ask "Is that the whole conversation or just the end?" and am told we will call you back in 48hrs even a manager cannot pull tapes and refund only escallation department can.

I key in "GoTech Financial in google for e-mail address and this site is the first thing that pops up for this company.

I went to the bank today for fraud report and did a conference call. I was finally transfered to a so called supervisor who did have my tape to play, and of course only plays where I say my name address and bank info and not the entire conversation which shows the mis-representation. My bank rep is softly laughing in the background when she says "you went to our website which states if you do you are not entitled to a refund.
