Grand Canyon University Lied and stole my money, wasted my time, unresponsive and cocky about it all Phoenix Arizona

 Grand Canyon University staff behave like sociopathic predators. They call and pressure you to sign up, then take your payment, and forget about responding to any inquiries after that. I paid $2,000.00 for an online class. The first week, I earned an A. The second week they gave me a failing grade, without any feedback from the instructor. The third week, same thing. The "academic advisor" was rude from the start, and zero help when I needed assistance figuring out what had happened. I got at least ten different answers from staff at Grand Canyon University, including their regional director, as high as I could get up the ladder of this band of fools. Too late to withdraw, honey, they are keeping the money. Oh yes, they will let me re-enroll with a BS "scholarship". Tough for me, because I get tuition reimbursment, but not for a failing grade, and not for any such BS scholarship. So I am out of two thousand dollars, and have a failing grade on an otherwise stellar GPA.

Why on earth did I pick these idiots?

I had a bachelors degree from them, and had received a tuition discount for that through the military. There were problems in the bachelors degree program, but I was halfway through and that is what Grand Canyon University counts on. I had a similar incident happen as described above, but didn't see the pattern until the second time.

Now I am just plain screwed.

As I look at other colleges and universities, Grand Canyon University gives you a degree with only two thirds of the hours required by other legitimate institutions of higher learning. I will definitely not be hiring anyone with a degree from them, unless I need a half-wit slacker.

Don't bother wasting your money or time there!! I have read the other posts on this website, and they are absolutely accurate. Plus, one post from their former employees mentions that Grand Canyon University had to return some five million dollars. Nevermind the people whose lived they screwed up and ripped off, because money can be replaced, time and effort cannot. Don't go to Grand Canyon University! Onlne or otherwise, they stink.
