I have yahoo email which I have always been very happy with.

Recently I have been solicited constantly. What I'm sure is going on is that our free email providers are picking up on key words in our emails.

I had been researching government grants for my son's college education.

My personal email address was then sold and I was sent an email from this company.

They offered me access to to their website so that I could research both government and other grants for $2.95 cents.
They said nothing about any other fees to me and allowed me access which I had used once.

January comes, and I am not only looking over my bank statements but am on the phone with both my personal banker and customer service trying to figure out why I have bills bouncing all over the place.

I spent a week on the phone trying to clean up the mess. When we found a charge for $58.61 that was thought to be a payment for my son's SAT's but wasn't: a red flag came up.
With my bank on the phone, we called the phone number attached to the charge and it was this company. However: when we back tracked to my November bank statement we found that they had changed their company name. Pretty shifty hey... I immediately canceled with them: since they told me that I had signed up for a Membership.

Dual reports were filed by my bank whom just got back to me last week and they told me that there wasn't a thing they could do to recover my money. $58.61 charged twice.

I am a single mother for 17 years and have always had to watch every penny, and more so in this current economy.
These people are a SCAM> Please don't allow this to happen to you.

If it sounds to good to be true, then it usually is.
