Great Clips stylists-dont believe the deception and lies! Riverview Florida

i started the great clips salon in riverview,fl. a week ago. store manager,carrie saw potential in my skills and she told me i was great with my customers! she even told me she would arrange for me to attend the paid training. today was my 3rd day and carrie told me my schedule and info for the training would be given to me by the days end (the 3 days after memorial day). a regional was also there who judged me as incompetent and wouldnt make it at great clips! as of today i was let go!!!

this company lies and deceives stylists! its sad to be promised refresher and advanced training one day and get fired the same day by a regional who worked 4 or 5 hrs at the salon i was at. manager who hired me had no say, the manager who hired me,worked with me and evaluated me as having potential! how dare i be judged and fired by a regional who has a god complex as being incompetent? i hope you (jennifer) can sleep at night,you have no heart or conscience,you only care about the $$$! also it was so convenient that jennifer had left the salon and told carrie to fire me!

i have written the great clips corporate hq about this b.s! from one stylist to other stylists. avoid great clips as well as the other greedy chains! they will hire you,promise you a future,more education and then fire you like a piece of trash! no wonder the work ethic has become a thing of the past. ill just stay on my ss disability. work will never pay if companys like this are allowed to cheat and lie and fire for no reason! i plan on exposing the lies and deception of this co as well as tell ppl they are not anymore than a product on a production line! i am leaving this fake career as of today for good. its a fake lie. hairstyling has become an impersonal career. every client has a dollar value,not a human value!
