Green Tree Servicing, LLC Unscrupulous, conniving, swindlers, Green Tree Servicing LLC does not abide by the agreements signed. Palantine Illinois

 I have been dealing, with difficulty, with Green Tree Servicing, LLC since Feb. 2013.  They said they I qualified for a modification mortgage and gave good terms and new mortgage costs, including escrowed homeowner's insurance and taxes.

Although I was given a 4-month "trial" period to see that I actually made the payments on time, the first payment was lost. However, I had the signed and returned green post office form.  The receptionist, the only person who takes the phone calls when she doesn't keep you on hold for 30 minutes, then searched and found that the company hadn't put the money in the modification account.  That's number 1.

They have no other phone to call; they respond to no faxes; they do not allow e-mails nor payments by e-mail.  They are, in fact, invisible, especially with only a P.O. Box.  Did you ever hear of banking or servicing companies like that?

They signed and promised escrow and are now refusing to pay the renewal of the homeowner's insurance.  I would like a lawyer or someone in that type of work who won't break my bank account to have them served with a warrant to pay the insurance ASAP, stand there at the office (if it really can be found - not the P.O.) to watch them write the check, take the payment with addressed envelope and stamp and drop it in the mailbox him/herself. 

These people are not to be trusted any more than some of the major banks still around, even with the government lawsuit against two major banks for fraudulently allowing mortgages to people they knew would not be able to pay.

I have worked for 50 years and am now retired.  To what?  To companies like this which just cause grief, anxiety and promises which they don't intend to keep?  They need to be investigated, of course, keeping all of their client information and payment intact.  Someone PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY!
