On January 27, 2011 A man called me from Greentech Imaging to see what kind of printer I had. He was offering ink and toner at discounted prices. After I told him that I would listen to him, he connected me to another woman named Desiree Cook. This woman was very persistant and acted like she had known me for years. She went along with her whole spill on how she just loved the state I'm in, blah, blah, blah. I admit, I fell for it. Luckily, I did not give her a credit card or other financial information. After her conversation of crap, she told me that she would have her shipping department call me tomorrow to verify my order. She also told me not to forget to tell them that "Desiree waived the shipping for me".
On January 28, 2011 A woman named Lily from shipping called me to verify my order. Before I confirmed, I googled Greentech Imaging. Good thing because I would have been thrown under the bus. I told the woman that I changed my mind and wanted to cancel my order. When she asked me why, I told her that the company was a scam and rip off, and that I didn't want any part of that. I then called the company to speak to Desiree Cook, a.k.a. my best friend. How strange to hear Lily's voice when Ihit0 for operator. I then asked Lily if she was in shipping and the operator, to which she replied"yes".
When Lily asked the company I was calling from, I asked her if she remembered talking to me 2 minutes ago. I was the one who said "cancel my order because this is a scam and rip off", to which she replied "well, we have lots of companies that we deal with." Really? How many tell you that your a scam?! Well that spoke volumes!
At first, she was only going to take my name and number for Desiree and have her call me back. Funny. I was very persistant in only speaking to Desiree that she put me on hold. Another woman answered, in which I told her that I only wanted to talk to Desiree. She then proceeded to get my name, number and the company I was calling from. She also was not going to let me speak to Desiree. I was put on hold again when Tom answered. I suppose Tom is the "muscle" of the company. Unfortunately for Tom, muscle doesn't do anything for a pissed off woman! When I told Tom I wanted to ONLY speak to Desiree he told me "You're order has been canceled, why do you want to speak to her?" I then proceeded to tell him that MY calls are recorded as well, and if anything from his company showed up at my door I would blow his scam out of the water! Take my name off the calling list and DO NOT EVER call here again! If so, I would report him to the FBI, the BBB, and anyone who would listen. All he said was "yes ma'am".
After this, I proceeded to mark the recorded calls in my program. As I was typing notes, the calls disappeared!! Just one more reason NOT TO TRUST THIS COMPANY AT ALL!! HUGE SCAM!! It's unfortuante for small town, family businesses like ourselves. You can't even purchase anything honestly without worrying about someone scamming you. Then, when we get calls from legit people, we can't even trust them because we've been scammed so much. This company is just another reason why this country is the way it is now. Everyone is out to get people, and only worried about themselves in the end.

Obiviously, these other people who have responded have never been scammed. It is a horrible feeling that is hard to get over. If you own a business, I'm sure you know you spend more time on the phone these days trying to be polite and tell people you are not interested, for them to keep calling and calling and calling. I'm sorry for anyone whose has ever been affected by this. Oh, and by the way I am not an English professor, but I do also own a printer.

If other people have been ripped off by this company, then that gives the potential for great reports to be written BY OTHER PEOPLE. There is no reason for you to write a report when you have literally nothing to report. I am not a "mean stranger" for giving you a reality check.

I am not a friend of "this company," in fact I still have no idea what company you are talking about. This complaint is incoherent, and for me to point that out does NOT make me a "cyberbully" - in fact, you are a cyberbully for falsely accusing me of that, and I suspect maybe YOU are a friend of the loser who posted the original report.

Well, I for one amd glad that the OP submitted info about this company. I purchase for a corporation and appreciate any and all tips regarding scams.
You're just another cyber bully Jacob. You must be a friend of the other losers that are on the lookout only for the chance to criticize others.

I was angry because I was about to do business with these people who were only out to scam me. No, not everything you read on the internet is true. However, when you see a company's name with "SCAM" all over it on a credible website, it makes one reluctant.I am not a big corporation. I am asmallbusiness owner who runs a family business with my children. I cannot afford to be scammed. I told my side of the story, which is all I wanted to do.All I was trying to do is warn people. I was not looking for approval from mean strangers. Frankly, I don't care what you think.

They accepted your cancellation. They never charged you any money. You have no evidence that they are a scam (anonymous hearsay is not evidence). What the heck are you mad about?
Considering your spelling and grammar, frankly you would be better off not owning a printer.
