It is apparent that Global Tel Link is using exploitive practices and may in fact be in violation of the law. I have been using Verizon for decades and now, it would appear that my calls from a correctional facility have been intercepted and now I am obligated to "prepay" for phone calls from the facility?
It would appear that Verizon is in collusion with Global Tel Link, but that is just my opinion. I would have thought Verizon would be able to fight for me. In either case, after reviewing many of the complaints on this website, it would seem that the Attorney General for the State of Alabama should begin to take action.

1-800-392-5658. I would hope people will file complaints with the AG and hopefully put an end to the heavy-handed practices of Global Tel Link.
