Guardsman Furniture Protection Plan as sold through many furniture stores Protection Plan is a ripoff - DO NOT PURCHASE Unknown Maryland

 We paid a lot of money for their furniture protection plan (over $500 which was based on the amount of furniture we purchased at the time).  When it was sold to us they claimed the plan would cover against ANY accidential damage.  Well my child spilled something on our table top and because when I filed the claim form we could not exactly identify what was spilled the claim was denied.  No other explination.   DO NOT BUY THIS PLAN or waste any money on it.  When push comes to shove and you actually need to have something fixed under the plan they will find any excuse possible not to cover it.  It is my mistake for not searching the Internet prior to purchasing this (non)protection plan.  I encourage everybody to search on "Guardsman is a rip-off".  Seems I am not the only who wasted their money.
