gunbroker.com forthehunt.com Non existent customer service, do nothing to resolve issues , Internet

gunbroker.com is a gun and ammunition online auction site.  I'd done a few sales through them.  It was my understanding that once an auction was set up there were no more charges except a percentage of the sales. 

They started billing me and I was unaware of what that was for.  I requested details of what the bills were for.  I never received a reply.  In the process of all this they were billing my debit card for an account in which I currently was not keeping a balance.  As a result they were causing bank charges for insufficient funds.  This happened 3 times, each time my requesting information, not refusing to pay.  Each time they did not respond to my request for info.  Each time I didn't pay because I didn't know what I was being billed for.

I got no action from them until I threatened legal action.  I still don't know what that action was since they never replied to me in detail.  Just on their customer support page it stated the issue was resolved.  I don't know if they canceled the charge.  I have not received anything for the charges they caused to be incurred to my account.  My account with them is now closed.

I will be tracking down the company ownership and filing a small claims complaint against them.  If nothing else it will show up on their credit reports.  I recommend you consider other auction sites before dealing with this one.  Their billing practices are unethical and not in compliance with their own stated policies.  There customer service is non-existent and there is absolutely no communication to resolve issues.  They don't even provide any contact info, telephone numbers, addresses, nothing.  It's like they are intentionally hiding!  Now why would they want to do that?
