GWC WARRANTY IS A FRAUD! USE A DIFFERENT VENDOR!! Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania

Paid $2000 for a 2 year warranty- A year after purchasing a car there was an issue with the struts- big surprise "GWC DOESNT COVER STRUTS" ok- so out of pocket, we fix it.This Dec of 2012 we notice the car is riding a bit funny, we call GWC to see what we should do.

Then the car stops doing it so we figure its a fluke. Its the winter its freezing, we change the oil, all seems well. Starts up again so we call GWC to alert them and they give us an authorized repair shop and the repair shop says that they can not see the car until Monday Jan 21st 2012". We bring the car in and they say that the warranty Expired Saturday Jan 19th, 2013 ( not even counting sunday which isnt a buisness day so NOT EVEN 2 days later!!) You would think that GWC would honor it being that we can not control when issues should arise with a vehicle?.

The manager was rude and unhelpful and said theres nothing he could do, even though the car is currently SITTING AT THE SHOP,. So basically, Ive paid $2000 on the warranty and they covered ZERO!! I told the manager that Id be filing a report with BBB (which I have) and that I didnt want to say anything bad about the company, but I guess oh well:. So, to the manager, Thank you so much for your help with your scamming company/.

I really appreciated doing buisness with you!. Thank you for not even offering to meet me half way!. There is apparently no reward for being a good customer.. AVOID GWC FOR A WARRANTY ON A CAR!
