Harborside Financial Services fradudulent claims to winning $47,000.00 with check from Southern Welding Supply Inc - do not cash the check if you receive one! Vidalia Georgia, Jersey City New Jersey - Canada

We received a letter from Harborside Financial Services with a check enclosed for $2,980.00 "which covers both the adminiistrative payment and clearance fees of your winnings. For authorizing and processing of your price, please contact your agent MONICA Anderson at 1-705-770-3659." This drew concern from both my husband and I because of several reasons: 1) the letter had numerous grammar, spelling and punctuation errors; 2) why should we have to PAY to receive our prize money?; 3) the reference number and claim numbers were different.

Although we have not contacted Southern WElding Supply, Inc. in Savannah, GA because it is Sunday, 4/22/07, but will contact them in the morning Monday, 4/23/07. Then we will turn the check over to our bank so that they may handle this fraud as it should be.

WE are so thankful for Rip-Off because this gave us the information we needed and how the scam workings.

Please do not cash the check if you receive one you will be held responsible for the monies you spend out of the cashed check.
