Harvard Professional Group ripoff attempted to charge me $20,000-30,000 with an initial payment of $6,000; in the process was insulted and bullied; wasted my time!!! Edison (Metropark) New York

I'd like everyone to know how these individuals operate and mislead you as they did me.

I answered an ad in the NYT and called their tel# - they wouldn't give me specifics regarding the company on the phone and "required" me to come in. That started off alarm bells in my head but I decided to go in anyway.

I was made to wait for an hour even though I specifically stated on the phone that I was coming in from New York and had to catch the train back - DURING A WORK DAY! An individual called MICHAEL POZ then proceeded to thoroughly insult and bully me because I had refused to fill in all their paperwork till I could learn more about the company. I should have walked out then but met with him twice more before I finally saw the light of day...

Here's what didn't seem legit:
- On the 3rd meeting I was told that I would need to pay $6,000 upfront and the balance of my sign-on bonus (which could be upwards of $15,000) after I accepted the position. This is EXHORBITANT by anyone's standards!!
- I was told that they had 3 positions for me already but weren't willing for me to take home a copy of these positions even with specifics whited out
- They said that by law they couldn't disclose their success rate. WHAT???
- They said I had to sign on the dotted line that same day before leaving their offices or they wouldn't talk to me again - very high pressure tactics!

I walked out that day and have refused to deal with them since then. Please be very careful when you deal with such unscrupulous individuals. They will say and dp anything to make you believe them ("I have CEOs and multi-million dollar clients fly in from all over the world to talk to me every week." Yeah right!)
