Received usual Verizon telephone bill.......with unusual unexplainable monthly 3rd party billing for HBS Billing Services "on behalf of Headwind Media, Inc." Internet address provided interesting nonsence and jibberish. No idea how they got my info., IF YOUR ACCOUNT HAS AUTOPAY YOU WILL NEVER KNOW THIS IS A BOGUS CHARGE - am sure this is the intent.

Can't seem to shake them!! Billing continues after contacting Headwind and Verizon

CONTINUING SAGA, after detecting the BOGUS 3rd party billing on my phone account I contacted Headwind and told them the service was not requested/not authorized and they should cease and desist billing........they provided the IP address the authorization was provided from and agreed to stop the "non-service"(providing a phony confirmation number). The IP address was not mine, my ISP said the IP address was old and not associated with my info......that the info. was likely "hacked overseas", I contacted Verizon and informed them of the fraud attempt, they credited my account and put a "3rd party billing block" on my account.
GOT MY NEW VERIZON BILL - THE THIRD PARTY (CMI/HEADWIND) CHARGES WERE STILL THERE, and an additional charge of $5.00 for "a new service" by Verizon. Again I called Verizon and was assured that I would be credited for the bogus 3rd party billing and the new service charge, and that the "Block" would take effect. I expect to repeat the process next month.......who are these guys, someone needs to shut them down!!.
