I ordered Frontline Top Spot for Cats on May 22, 2003. I received a shipment from HealthyPets on May 27 (very fast shipment considering there was a weekend involved). The product I received was labeled "Frontline Spot On Cat", with sickers on the box that stated it was manufactured in France. The web site for HealthyPets states that all their products are made in the United States. I called the manufacturer for Frontline and the person I spoke with said she has no record of them making a product labeled "Spot On Cat".
I then e-mailed HealthyPets and asked if I could return the product for credit. They responded that any unopened package could be returned. I sent the unopened packages (I ordered two boxes) on May 30 and the tracking info indicated it was delivered on June 2.
I called June 9 to confirm that they had issued a credit. I was told credits are processed on Saturday, so the credit card company should have the credit. After waiting a week and checking with my credit card company, the credit wasn't received. I then called HealthyPets and was told a credit had not been issued and they would have to email the information to a manager for him to approve a credit. I then filed a complaint with my credit card company to dispute the charge.
Today, July 15, I checked the status of the charge with the credit card company. They said they had not received a response from HealthyPets, and since it had been 28 days since they requested the information, I was issued a permanent credit.
From my experience, HealthyPets does not deliver the products ordered, and they do not issue credits when the products are returned.
