Between 2001 and 2009 minimally, Heritage Auctions has used their vast financial resources, position in the collectibles industry and experience in manipulating the accounting of sales of consigned goods to steal, cheat and con clients who enter into consignment relationships with them in good faith. I personally entered into well over $3,000,000 worth of transactions with these crooks and ended up on the short end of the stick to the tune of hundreds of thousands, if not over a million dollars (I am still figuring out the magnitude of the deception and malfeasance on their part). Thus far I have identified well over 100 accounting errors, each of which cost me money and benefitted Heritage and have yet to find a single error in my favor. Is it possible that this could occur without being by design? I would guess that the odds would be astronomical. They have mis-placed and damaged my goods, lost consigned goods that never re-surfaced and outright stole consigned property from me. This is all provable. I do not hate anybody and do not derive satisfactioin in posting this information for the world to see. I merely want consumers to know to beware when dealing with these guys. I have personally been cheated by the depart heads of their Comic Book, Sports Collectibles and Movie Poster divisions and have witnessed the owners and CFO lie under oath to cover up the Fraud perpetrated. I am available to discuss the matter with other consumers who feel they have also been wronged by Heritage Auctions. I now know how the Fraud is committed and what to look for and will happily share this factual information with hope that it could save someone else from the pain and frustration that I've endured for many years now as a result of my dealings with Heritage and their den of theives. Fraud Proven!! Heritage Auctions Finally Exposed!

I’m not aware of whom Jason Carter is, and I suspect that he may simply be a fictitious name used by a Heritage Auctions employee to post rebuttals. If he is a real person, then he is simply naïve and apparently doesn’t know what his pals have been up to. We’ll give him the benefit of the doubt this time. Maybe he’ll be able to sit in during the upcoming trial that will commence September 15th of this year in Dallas? If so, he will get to witness the hammer fall on the (to this point) “Teflon Dons”. By the way, I didn’t see Jason present during the evidentiary hearings held in Dallas on August 19 & 20th of last year (Order #11 Movie Poster House, Inc. v. Heritage Auctions, Inc. (2013) (No. 71 181 0046512) wherein Arbitrator Larry D. Carlson of Carlson Arbitration, L.L.C., entered an Order finding, among other things, that Heritage pled the statute of limitations as a defense in this matter. However, the Arbitrator dismissed that defense due to his finding that “Heritage engaged in fraudulent concealment of its actions” and “actually knew a wrong occurred”. Specifically the arbitrator stated that: “I find that MPHI has proven the elements of fraudulent concealment” and that Heritage “had a fixed purpose to conceal the wrong”… And Heritage “did conceal the wrong.” In addition to the above findings, the Arbitrator also found, and Heritage admitted, that it withheld $29,949.46 from the sale of MPH inventory. This sum was eventually paid by Heritage after the Arbitration court ordered it so, approximately three years after the consigned movie posters had actually been sold by Heritage. This is just another snippet from the vast documentation that will be shared with the public in the coming weeks. If you have also been wronged by the thieves James Halperin, Steven Ivy, Chris Ivy or Julius “Grey” Smith, I would love to hear from you. Please contact me at (((REDACTED)) to join the ever-growing army of consumers who have been ripped off by Heritage Auctions and are now coming forward to share their stories of Heritage’s ill-gotten gains via theft and deceit. With regret.

That's Not The Heritage Auctions I Know

I know every partner at Heritage on a personal basis, and can’t imagine these allegations being true. In addition, I have a two-way business relationship with Heritage that is now in its 19th year. We conduct millions of dollars in business every year. Suffice to say, I would not have continued this relationship if there were any problems, accounting or otherwise. And I know scores, if not 100’s of other Heritage clients that have had the same great experiences I have had with Heritage. Heritage is widely known as one of the largest and most reputable auction firms in the world, and they run a seamless operation. In fact, I’ve never before heard of a settlement being paid so much as a day late.
