I rented a car from the O'hare Hertz location, for $435. I called during the rental to change my drop off location to another within Chicago, for $200. Hertz ultimately charged me $1,131, with no acknowledgement that they doubled the price of the rental with no warning.

Customer service took more than a month to respond, refused to acknowledge the mistake, and gave no refund -- every attempt I made to remediate with Hertz failed.

It is absurd that a company can literally charge twice the agreed on, quoted price and get away with it.
