Holland America Lied to, Over Booked, Seattle, Washington

Holland American took my money, gave me an itinerary and suckered me throughout my whole Alaskan vacation.
1) When we were about 20 minutes outside Denali our tour director informed us that they overbooked the lodge that was on our itinerary and SOME of us would be staying at another hotel outside of the park. We were outside the park alright about 5 miles, in what was no more then OLD army barricks. They had the gaul to drive us past the beautiful lodge and tell us thats where we were going to stay.
How rude. We got there, they unloaded the bus with our luggage said that another bus would pick us up for dinner. The menu consisted of fish or pork. But they would "buy" us dinner. How nice of them. It was 4:30 in the afternoon we had been on a train all day, we just wanted to do a little site seeing. But we couldn't because there was no way to get to town and they didn't provide us with any transportation unless we had a excursion booked.

The hotel staff told all 42 of us that this happens all the time. They always overbook and send the overflow to them.

My second problem arises. I had booked a Glacier landing on Mt McKinley. I booked it over 6 weeks prior to my departure. The excursion was cancelled 2 weeks before my vacation started. I am still waiting for my refund 4 months later.
They knew it was cancelled and never told me. I could of booked another excursion if I had known.

Luxury Motorcoach was the next lie... Luxury to them must be a greyhound bus because thats where we sat for the next 4 days.. Being moved around like cattle to different locations. The tour book said beautiful Alaskan Yukon territory. They failed to mention that the wild fires of 2 years ago left nothing standing in their path. So there was no wild life no trees NOTHING except burnt trees. Thank goodness for a good bus driver who at least made it fun to pass the boring time away.

I feel my $4000.00 plus was just thrown in the trash.. I had saved for 5 years for this trip and booked Holland because they were the best at Alaska.
Don't believe them they are horrible and do not recommend them to anyone...

I get to the cruise ship and buy a soda card for $17.00 Not bad I thought for 20 drinks. Well they only serve you a 8 oz glass of soda no cans served unless you buy them one at a time. Another rip off!!!

The motel overbook was the biggest rip off of the whole vacation. They gave us names of the places we were staying on the itinerary. We should of stayed at those hotels and no where else. How did they determine which guest stayed in the barracks?
