Home Decorators Collection Dangerous and faulty fireplace/heater Nationwide

Purchased a furniture/heater electric fireplace,  brand named "Home Decorators Collection" from home depot. model # WSFP59HD-14  SKU# 1001803998. Piece collection name: Bellevue Park 59"

Date of purchase: 10/24/2016

First problem was some of the parts were not drilled, or aligned to fit correctly upon assembly, and had to order new parts to fix the stablity of the furniture. 

second problem was the fire place would flip braker on the house.  the cord/plug-in would get very hot.  

Called home depot, and in turn they called manufacturer about the problem. Our request was of placement of this fireplace due to fear of fire hazard. 

we were told they would send or call for a trouble shooting check on the item, but have not offered replacement, refunds or services to this item. 

Bad product, Bad service, and won't back up their products and make avoidance to replacements. 

the item is over 500.00 and its useless to us, this winter and for heating needs for a room in our house, and not satisfied with  customer service, the product, or the hazard aspects that it might cause if used.
