Where to start?

I guess not long after my fathers death I was listed on the deed of this real estateproperty but not the mortgage. Then not long after that my mom passed and I was left with the house and the mortgage. So I started making payments and taking loans to get the mortgage caught up, which never happened, I'd pay and pay but
the loan only continued to increase until they decided to foreclose since I was fighting a losing battle, I quit paying.

At first they would talk to me as long as I would send in proof of the death of my parents and then it just got to the point where they wanted proof each time I would call to make payment arragements. In my opinion they wanted a foreclosure since they won't speak to me AT ALL.
I have a lawyer working on it but he has been having a hard time getting any answers either.

We offered a settlement of the Principal Balance so I could save my parents home but again they won't budge. All I would like to do at this point is to get them to take my offer and get this nightmare settled.
It's sad and disgusting when you try and try but all a company wants is something that some people have to work so hard all their lives to even get. I understand that the mortgage needs paid but how is it legal for this company to take advantage of bad situations?

Please help, anything would help if I can only save my parents home!
