I almost lost my home because of HomeQ Servicing. It all started as a mistake on my part. But when I tried to correct the mistake, I was mislead and lied to continually. I was out of the country in June of 2005. My house payment was set up on Auto pay. My automatic deposit didn't hit my account when it was supposed to causing the payment to bounce. When I returned home and realized what had happened, I contacted HomeQ and gave then payment over the phone to clear this up. They talked me into giving them the next months payment as well over the phone. Big Mistake! They informed me my auto pay was turned off and these two payments would make everything caught up. Wrong! They hit my account for 3 payments! They never turned off the auto pay. When I contacted them and explained what they had done, they said yes, we see that we shouldn't have done that, but you are the one in default! They also wouldn't accept payments from me until they got the returned items back! Long story short, out of fear I finally sent cashiers checks to the company anyway and went out of town on business for several days. When I returned I find out my house was in foreclosure! I called HomeQ and asked where the money was I sent to them. Well, it was in a lost check file and never credited to my account. But somehow once again this was my fault! During this time I was diagnosed with a condition called Trigeminal Nueralgia and advised I needed brain surgery. I was also put on some very strong meds including pain medication.

I kept sending this company my money and they kept holding onto it and tying up my funds. We would make forebearance payment agreements, I would send more money and then they would change their minds. During this time they would have thousands of dollars of my money!
Finally, my sister and best friend got involved and we got the foreclosure stopped. I got hit with over $7,000 in fees! I plan to sue this company to get my money back.

In the meantime, I find out that they have reported me as late for four months in 2006! I have not been one minute late and have paid by western union quick collect to be sure of it! HomeQ Servicing is a predatory company looking to foreclose if they can. If not they make a ton of money off fees.

They messed with the wrong chick this time! I handle all media relations for the company I work for and have a wonderful working relationship with all the local media. I will get my money back or they will be exposed! Actually, I may expose them regardless just for fun!
