3 times we have tried to refi our home, but these a holes keep jerking the title co around and give a payoff $15,0000. higer than my orig loan. i have paid in excess of 100 thousand dollars in interest to this mafia loan company for the past 5 years and my loan is "crammed" with excess fees.
one person there tells me "we overcharged you for late fees, don't worry about it i'll email my supervisor"..well never happened..bait and switch tactics all over the place..if your loan is in fla. call dept of banink and finance at 850-410-9370. i just got off the phone with them and they are sending me a form to fill out.
when i asked about the number of complainys they have had reported on homeq/the money store/tms mortgage , he said it was upwards of over 100 already.
good luck..also there is a class action being filed against these weasels in the southern dist of new york from what i hear, so call a lawyer and ask him about this action as well..

the title company just called me because i'm finally getting away from homeq's gangster, illegal loan sharking tactics..my original loan 5 years ago was for $215 thousand dollars..after paying approx $150,ooo. in interest and bs "codillis" fees my payoff is $228,033!i have already retained a class actiion law firm here in tampa, and they have advised me that they have more folks like myself that will be joined the suit..these homeq bastards are in for a hugh awakening!!!!if you have a mortgage with these clowns, call an attorney in the yellow pages under "class action" or get a referal for an attorney that handles this kind of action..print out the ripoff reports on homeq and hand deliver them, (like i did),to the attorneys office. don't worry, they wont charge you to consult on this case,,they take a % of the settlement as compensation..good luck
