HomeStyle Inc. I got the same check like everyone else. I called around and found out the check was fake. It would have been nice fix up my home for my baby coming in october but some people out there are just cruel and do stuff like this to hurt others. New York New York

i recieved the same letter today that everyone else recieved in the mail. enclosed was a check for 3,980.00. I was really excited that i would have the chance to fix up my home before my son was born in october. I called the number on the letter to activate my check and they told me that with this check i had to send them 2000.00 for taxes and fees which sounded funny. I even asked 3 times if there was any money that i ever had to pay back and they told me no and then gave me all the information to a lady that i was suppose to send the money to.

so then i called FWS and M&T Bank in Buffalo NY and they said that it was just a scam and not to cash the check. Good thing I called first. It was dissapointing though to find out with many others that we all did not win nothing we were just getting scammed the whole time and something does need to be done about this and something good done for the all the many of individuals that got hurt from this scam.
